Service Description

Have horse crazy teens? This is the class for them! These classes are for students ages 12 - 16. In these mindfulness based horse classes, students will get to learn everything about horses. Some of the topics are: -Horse anatomy and history -Horse breeds, colors and markings -Grooming supplies and how to groom a horse -Keeping a horse - what it entails -Mindfulness and horses and how they go together -Saddles and riding disciplines -How to clean and care for tack -How to clean a stall and other barn upkeep -Horse food - what they eat and why -How to lead a horse The classes are an hour each, running for 4 weeks total. Students will get to be around, brush and lead horses. The last class, students will get to ride a horse if they are interested. Dress for the weather, classes will be held outside if the weather cooperates! Otherwise there is an indoor arena and a heated barn to learn in. Sibling discounts available, please enquire. Siblings 3 and under are welcome at no charge.

Cancellation Policy

Lessons booked are final sales. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund lessons booked. They may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior. Please make sure the lesson time and date works with your schedule prior to booking. When you book a lesson, you are reserving the horse and time spot from anybody else booking that time. If you or your child has any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home until you are feeling better. Students who are coughing, sniffling or sneezing will be sent home to keep everyone at the barn safe and healthy. Contact Crystal if you or your child is unable to attend the lesson, ideally at least 2 hours prior or as soon as you know you can not make it. Sick students and emergencies will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
