At Crystal's Equine, we understand the importance of keeping your equine companion healthy and happy. Our Equine First Aid class provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to handle common injuries and illnesses that your horse may experience. Learn how to take a temperature, wrap a leg, and recognize when it's necessary to call a vet. Our expert trainers will guide you through the process and give you the confidence you need to care for your horse in any situation. Don't wait until it's too late, sign up today. **Please note, I am not a vet. I have worked with horses for nearly 30 years and will teach you what I know about this topic. If you're ever unsure about an injury or illness, always contact your vet.** The class is geared towards adults, however kids are welcome to come along, however we will be covering some graphic material. The price for the class is $22.50 per adult or $45 per family. Sign up for 2 participants for 2 or more in the family. The class is held in a heated barn, however still dress for the weather.
Lessons booked are final sales. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund lessons booked. They may be rescheduled up to 24 hours prior. Please make sure the lesson time and date works with your schedule prior to booking. When you book a lesson, you are reserving the horse and time spot from anybody else booking that time. If you or your child has any cold or flu symptoms, please stay home until you are feeling better. Students who are coughing, sniffling or sneezing will be sent home to keep everyone at the barn safe and healthy. Contact Crystal if you or your child is unable to attend the lesson, ideally at least 2 hours prior or as soon as you know you can not make it. Sick students and emergencies will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
