5 Day Mindful Horse Camp - Payment Plans

Service Description

Our Mindful Horse Camp combines yoga, mindfulness practice and horses for a unique and fun week. This camp is for ages 7-16 and runs from 9-3 Monday through Friday. Camp will begin in the morning with a lesson on Mindfulness and a yoga session with Ms. Ann Nelson, our yoga instructor. After yoga and mindfulness, students will break into groups to learn about horses. One group will work with and ride the horses, and the other group will work on unmounted learning. After lunch, the groups switch. Students will get hands on horse and riding time daily. They will get to learn all about horse breeds, colors, markings, illnesses and first aid, grooming, leading, using our energy and watching the herd dynamics, equine communication and gentle horsemanship. Under saddle, students will learn how to ride independently and learn about jumping, equitation and Dressage. Campers will ride daily and get to participate in a fun show at the end of the week to show off what they learned to their family. Campers will need to wear a boot with a heel, long pants (breeches or leggings preferred), and a helmet. Riding helmet is preferred, but a bike helmet will work. Loaner helmets are available on a limited basis. Campers will also need to pack a lunch, snack, water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray. We will be outside most of the time. Payment is due at the time of booking to reserve your spot. 50% is due at the time of booking, with the remainder due 2 weeks before the camp start date. Monthly automatic payments are also available. Cancellations can be made up to 4 weeks before camp start date and will receive a full payment refund. Any cancellations made after that time up until 1 week before camp start will be able to have the payment applied towards a different camp week that has openings.
